Fall Healthcare Forum – November 7th

Due to the overwhelming popularity of our Spring Healthcare Forum, we are adding another one this Fall! The Forum will begin with a Keynote Address from a senior Defense Health Agency (DHA) Leader. Following those remarks, the Coalition has invited Karen Brazell, the Principal Executive Director for Acquisition, Logistics, and Construction at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), to provide attendees with an update on the State of VA Acquisition.

Following a short networking break, attendees will have the opportunity to hear the latest updates from VA and DHA procurement leaders during two morning panel discussion sessions. The first, titled, VA Acquisition Leadership Panel, will feature the following confirmed panel speakers:

  • Phil Christy, Acting Principal Executive Director, Office of Acquisition, Logistics and Construction, VA
  • Tammy Czarnecki, Assistant Deputy Undersecretary of Health for Administrative Operations, VA
  • Ricky Lemmon, Acting Executive Director, Office of Acquisition and Logistics, VA

During the second panel discussion, the DHA Acquisition Leadership Panel, the Coalition has confirmed panel speaker John Tenaglia, Head of Contracting, Defense Health Agency, who we anticipate being joined by leaders in Health IT and Logistics.

After a networking lunch, attendees will also have an opportunity to engage with Federal procurement leaders during our Business Intelligence Sessions. These sessions provide an interactive, collaborative, and informative setting, where attendees are able to converse directly with government procurement experts on a variety of topics, including:

  • VA Pharmaceuticals
  • Medical/Surgical Prime Vendor (MSPV) Program
  • DoD Pharmaceuticals
