The Coalition is pleased to host a webinar, A Practical Guide to Understanding CMMC Certification for Contractors, on October 23 from 12:00 – 1:30 PM (ET) with guest presenter Matt Gilbert, Principal at Baker Tilly.
The final rule for the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program was published on September 10, finalizing the Defense Department (DoD’s) plans to include CMMC requirements in DoD contracts. Phased implementation is set to begin on November 10, 2025.
During the webinar, Matt will take a practical approach to helping you understand the final rule, highlighting common pitfalls to avoid and sharing strategies to help contractors ensure compliance.
Matt Gilbert leads Baker Tilly’s CMMC and government contractor IT risk suite of services. Matt participated in the working groups developing the CMMC assessment methodology and was trained in the first class of assessors. Matt has helped over 100 companies in their CMMC preparation efforts.
