Green Committee: How GSA is Shaping Sustainable Procurement, March 20

On March 20 at 2:00 PM (ET), the Green Committee will host Boris Arratia, the Designated Federal Officer for the GAP FAC for a members-only meeting. The GAP FAC, which standards for General Services Administration Acquisition Policy Federal Advisory Committee, is a Federal advisory committee made up of experts in the Federal Government, industry, and academia. It supports GSA by providing recommendations on how GSA can use its acquisition tools to target high priority acquisition challenges, including those related to climate and sustainability.
At the briefing, Mr. Arratia will review the recommendations the GAP FAC has issued so far, several of which GSA has begun implementing. He will also discuss how industry can get involved in the committee’s work.
