Members will note our tag line for the conference this year: “Common Sense Procurement for the Common Good.” From the Coalition’s perspective, we believe that this theme provides some much-needed centering at a time of increased churn. Certainly, from a business perspective, common sense should promote collaboration between Government and industry to support a dynamic, competitive market that facilitates innovative and efficient solutions to leverage in service to the citizens. At a macroscopic level, however, we hope that this theme inspires a sense of community, a recognition that we share a common history, and an understanding that our commitment to service in this marketplace promotes our common goals for the future.
We are pleased to announce that Frank Abagnale will highlight our Excellence in Partnership (EIP) Celebration Dinner! One of the world’s top fraud prevention and security experts, the author, made famous by the movie Catch Me If You Can, shares critical lessons in the world of security, helping business and government organizations stay a step ahead of those dedicated to defrauding organizations.
In addition, we have invited FAS Commissioner Alan Thomas to provide remarks focusing on the vital role government and industry partnership in supporting agency missions to serve the citizens.
We look forward to having members join us for all our fall events, and be sure to take a look at the agendas and see some of the speakers who have already confirmed their attendance:
