The Coalition for Common Sense in Government Procurement (Coalition) is proud to host this year’s Spring Training Conference at a pivotal moment for the federal acquisition system. The Spring Training Conference, taking place on June 25-26 at the Fairview Park Marriott in Falls Church, Virginia, will explore The New Federal Market. With recent Executive Orders (EO) reshaping the acquisition landscape, including EO 14275, Restoring Common Sense to Federal Procurement and EO 14240, Eliminating Waste and Saving Taxpayer Dollars by Consolidating Procurement, the procurement community is navigating fundamental changes in how the government buys goods and services.
On day one of the Spring Training Conference, we are very fortunate to be joined by key personnel of the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), who will share their vision for the agency in this new environment. As FAS leads one of the most significant strategic reforms to federal procurement in decades, attendees will have the invaluable opportunity to hear directly from GSA leadership on what lies ahead and how industry can best support the Federal Government’s efforts.
This year’s conference agenda features several panels with GSA and agency partners that will provide insights into how the government plans to implement procurement consolidation, modernize acquisition policies, and deliver best value for federal customers and American taxpayers.
