OTA Update – September 18th from 12:00pm – 1:00pm EDT
Other Transaction Authority (OTA) instruments are a long-standing vehicle that has becoming increasingly popular as a tool to rapidly enter into agreements for research and development and prototype work. The US Government continues to expand the use of OTA and companies from a large cross-range of sectors and industries are taking notice. The Coalition is pleased to welcome EY Government Contract Services to outline some of the recent trends and activities of the DOD and their usage of the OTA and some of the key tenets of the OT guide published late in 2018 by DOD. The discussion will cover the OT guide as well as recent activity regarding the usage of the OT authority by the DOD and other departments of the federal government. Click HERE to register!
Accounting Systems, Emerging Challenges, and Industry Trends Webinar – October 16th from 12:00pm – 1:00pm EDT
As a prime or subcontractor on a Federal Government Department of Defense (DoD) contract, you may be subject to certain requirements related to your accounting system. With the Defense Contract Audit Agency’s (DCAA) plan to increase oversight on the Accounting System (DFARS 252.242-7006) through a new approach and audit program, contractors are facing emerging challenges with the ability to prepare for and participate in a DCAA Accounting System audit. The Coalition is pleased to welcome EY Government Contract Services (GCS) to offer insights about trends affecting government contractors regarding recent changes in regulations and the DCAA’s planned increase in activity around the Accounting System. EY GCS has assisted numerous contractors in preparing for DCAA’s new approach and offers unique insight from their participation in DCAA’s pilot audits and new audit approach. Click HERE to register!

Excellence in Partnership Awards Dinner (11/20/19)
The Excellence in Partnership (EIP) Awards honor individuals and organizations in the acquisition community who have made significant contributions to the procurement system that deliver best value and meet agency missions. Historically, these awards have been given to individuals, organizations, and contractors involved in procurement with GSA, VA, DOD, DHS, and other government agencies. This year’s award categories are Lifetime Acquisition Excellence Award; Acquisition Excellence Award ;Excellence in Innovation Award; Advocating for Veterans Award. As it is the Coalition’s 40th Anniversary, we are looking to shake things up a bit and add some new excitement to this year’s dinner.
