Thank you for the tremendous support for our upcoming Joseph P. Caggiano Memorial Golf Tournament on August 16! We are excited to share that Paws for Purple Hearts (PPH) will be represented by at least two trainers and service dogs, along with Genevieve Timpone, their Marketing and Communication Specialist. Prior to our 11:00 start, Ms. Timpone will share a few words about PPH’s impact on veterans. As each foursome finishes the 18th hole, the PPH team hopes they will take a picture with the service dogs. PPH will send us a copy of these photos to thank you for your kind support. Rumor has it that the service dogs will also play a role in delivering the prizes to our tournament winners during the reception!
In other exciting updates, this year’s Coalition for Government Procurement Endowed Scholarship Fund recipient, Brandon Hancock, will be attending in the morning to introduce himself and offer a few remarks on his appreciation for the scholarship. Brandon is part of George Washington University’s School of Law, JD Class of 2024 and is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal Vol. 33. He is a U.S. Army veteran, member of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal, and is interested in the intersection of Government Procurement & Cybersecurity.
