Lawmakers Race to Prevent Partial Government Shutdown
The Hill reports that the House passed last week’s three-bill minibus which will now head to the Senate. On Sunday, the House Appropriations Committee released a bipartisan two-bill minibus that would fund the Treasury Department and related financial service agencies as well as the Department of State and national security programs. Lawmakers have yet to release the text of four additional appropriations bills needed to avert a partial government shutdown on January 30.
