Announcing the Day 1 Agenda for the Fall Training Conference: What is Fair and Reasonable? November 15-16

As mentioned in last week’s FAR & Beyond blog, communication is the “connective tissue” of federal procurement, bringing government and industry together. The Fall Training Conference provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen this connective tissue through thought-provoking panels and collaborative dialogue. To this end, we are pleased to announce that the agenda for the first day of the Fall Training Conference: “What is Fair and Reasonable? is now available. The two-day conference, taking place on November 15-16 at the Fairview Park Marriott in Falls Church, Virginia, begins with a day focused on governmentwide issues followed by a second day dedicated to healthcare. We are excited to first share the governmentwide agenda, which includes an engaging and diverse lineup of sessions that cover a range of topics pertaining to GSA and other agencies.

With the recent news of the FAS reorganization, the day will start with a special keynote panel, “Framing FAS for the Future,” which will highlight how the reorganization’s implementation will meet the needs of federal customers and industry partners. Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from FAS leadership on their current priorities, programs, and initiatives moving forward. In addition, the popular “Rogers Panel” will be returning, highlighting the key developments in acquisition law, policy, and regulation. The day will wrap up with two sets of the always-informative “Dead Easy” breakout sessions that cover several agency-specific topics, including NASA SEWP VI, Cloud, GSA Schedules and GWACs, General Supplies and Services, Assisted Acquisition Services, and more.

The agenda promises to capture the essence of the conference’s theme while providing valuable insights with government and industry leaders, networking opportunities, and collaboration for all attendees. Stay tuned for the release of the healthcare agenda, which will be coming soon. We look forward to seeing you at the conference!
