This year’s conference, taking place on November 15-16 at the Fairview Park Marriott in Falls Church, Virginia, explores the theme of “What is Fair and Reasonable?” in the federal marketplace when it comes to market conditions, contract terms, policies, and regulations. The two-day event, which includes a day focused on governmentwide issues and a day focused on healthcare, will dive into current developments in the dynamic world of federal procurement, with insights from key government decision makers and industry experts. Day One – Governmentwide Focus
On November 15, the conference will kick off with a day focused on governmentwide issues. The agenda features an engaging lineup of sessions covering topics relevant to GSA and other agencies. With the recent news of the Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) reorganization, the day will start with a special keynote panel, “Framing FAS for the Future,” which will highlight how the reorganization’s implementation will meet the needs of federal customers and industry partners. Next, a panel of government executives and industry experts will explore recent policies affecting contractors and the factors that have an impact a fair and reasonable price determination. This session is followed by the popular “Rogers Panel,” which will highlight key developments in acquisition law, policy, and regulation. After lunch, there will be two panels of FAS leadership, including the “Professional Services and IT Categories Panel,” and the “Catalog, General Supplies and Services Panel,” in which they will discuss their respective priorities, programs, and initiatives moving forward.
The day will wrap up with two sets of “Dead Easy” breakout sessions that cover several agency-specific topics, including NASA SEWP VI, Cloud, GSA Schedules and GWACs, General Supplies and Services, Assisted Acquisition Services, and more.

Day Two – Healthcare Focus
The healthcare agenda healthcare explores the theme of “What is Fair and Reasonable,” with leadership from multiple agencies, including the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Defense Health Agency (DHA), the Indian Health Service (IHS), and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The morning sessions will explore the modernization of the VA supply chain in 2024 and beyond, how VA’s Office of Acquisition is supporting veterans’ healthcare, the latest on healthcare supply chain requirements, and the VA – GSA partnership on the future of the Schedules Program.
The healthcare agenda includes three sets of diverse “Dead Easy” breakout sessions, with focus areas like the Community Care Network, the MSPV program, pharmaceuticals, VA prosthetics, cybersecurity, and more.
