Introducing the New Coalition Website

As part of this week’s FAR & Beyond blog, I am proud to announce the launch of The Coalition for Government Procurement’s brand-new website. This new platform aims to upgrade the user experience for site visitors through enhanced accessibility and functionality.

The Coalition’s mission is to bring common sense to government procurement, and as part of that commitment, we have redeveloped our website to reflect our ongoing priorities, thought leadership, and educational resources. Our goal is to provide a seamless online experience that caters to the diverse subject matter interests of our members and the federal procurement community.

Some of the key new features and benefits include:

  • Modernized Look and Feel: The website features an appealing modern design that drives user engagement and emphasizes ease of navigation through a visually appealing experience.
  • Streamlined Browsing Experience: Site visitors will notice improved organization of the menu structure that allows you to easily explore information on the Coalition’s membership, upcoming events, current policy issues, digital resources, and more.
  • Improved Member Portal: The Coalition’s Member Portal provides exclusive access to members-only resources specific to our various committees. Accessible from the homepage, the Member Portal serves as a one-stop-shop for the latest committee meeting slides and recordings, Coalition reports, and government documents. In addition, through the portal, members can browse and register for upcoming events, access a library of past webinars, update their user profile, and learn more about sponsorship and training opportunities.
  • Coming Soon – Single Sign-on (SSO) Integration: A major member benefit to our new site will be the addition of an SSO feature. SSO will allow members to utilize their existing Member Portal credentials, providing a convenient and secure login process. With the integration of SSO, members will have access to special content on the website, including the Tuesday Tracker and Friday Flash newsletters, as well as the Coalition’s annual Federal Market Report.

We are thrilled to serve our members through the new site. The launch marks a major milestone in our continued efforts to deliver the latest and most valuable procurement news. We hope that, through the new layout and features of the site, our engagement with industry is further strengthened. I would like to thank all of our members for their continued support of the Coalition and I look forward to your feedback on the website.

If you have any questions as you navigate the new site and its features, or need your login credentials reset, please contact Michael Hanafin, Marketing & PR Strategist, at mhanafin@thecgp.org.

Finally, we would like to highlight our upcoming Joseph P. Caggiano Memorial Golf Tournament on August 16 at the Whiskey Creek Golf Club. This event is perfect for golfers of all skill levels and also serves as an excellent networking opportunity. Not only does the tournament promise to be a great time, but it also supports two important causes. In addition to supporting The Coalition for Government Procurement Endowed Scholarship Fund for a deserving veteran concentrating their studies in the field of U.S. government procurement at The George Washington University Law School, proceeds from this year’s tournament will go towards Paws for Purple Hearts. Read more about this wonderful organization and how it works to improve the lives of veterans facing mobility and trauma-related conditions in this previous FAR & Beyond blog.
